Profile: I am a Body Psychotherapist who trained first in Bioenergetics in New York for two years, and then with the Chiron Centre in London. I have practised for twenty years and also supervise and train counsellors and psychotherapists. My Training work takes the biggest amount of my time now, and I run a training programme at a University in the North of England. I also maintain a small psychotherapy practice, and supervise counsellors and psychotherapists in York. I also have a an interest in research and have published papers and book chapters on such topics as the 'ethical use of touch' (2005) 'proximity in psychotherapy' (2008) and 'the presence of the trainer' (in progress).
