Profile: I am an experienced psychotherapist. I have trained and taught at Chiron and consider my work to be fundamentally embodied and relational. These days my emphasis is not so much on bodywork, but rather using body information to deepen awareness of a psychological process.
Since training at Chiron I have studied neuroscience, attachment and intersubjectivity in depth, and now teach at other psychotherapy organisations including The Minster Centre, The Bowlby Centre and the Terapia institute.
At the moment a major focus is a new course I am teaching for practitioners in the field of psychotherapy, alternative therapies and others interested in mental health. It is a ten month course called ‘Embodied Awareness: a New Anatomy’. More information, and articles of interest are available on my website www.thinkbody.co.uk Qualifications and Accreditations: I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, with additional training in Somatic Trauma Therapy. I am also a supervisor, trainer, speaker and author. Affiliations: Chiron Association of Body Psychotherapists The British Relational School Theoretical Approach: My main theoretical foundation is attachment and intersubjectivity theory, which adds to and extends my original training in body psychotherapy.
