Joining CABP Print

There are different types of membership in CABP:

 

FULL MEMBERSHIP is open to:

 

  • Therapists awarded a qualification in Body Psychotherapy from a recognised Body Psychotherapy Training Institute and who fulfill the “Full Membership Criteria” (opens as a  PDF document). To download the application, Form (3), please click here  (Please make sure you have downloaded the most recent form as they get updated from time to time)

 

  • Therapists qualified in any other recognised psychotherapeutic modality and accredited by UKCP, who in addition fulfill the criteria set out at section D of the CABP Criteria for Full Membership and Accreditation for the UKCP Register. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to:

 

  • Therapists awarded a Certificate in Body Psychotherapy from an established Body Psychotherapy Training Institute and who are training and working towards their Accreditation. These members are covered by the CABP Ethics and Equal Opportunities Committee (EEOC) for a period of four years from award of their Certificate. They must be in regular supervision with a Body Psychotherapy supervisor recognised by CABP to maintain their Associate Membership. To download the application, Form (2), please click here  (Please make sure you have downloaded the most recent form as they get updated from time to time)

 

 

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to:

 

  • Anyone who has an interest in body psychotherapy and wishes to maintain that interest through attending CABP events. Affiliate Members' work is not covered by the CABP EEOC.
